Artist Statement
My work centers on storytelling through watercolor—using softness as a form of strength. I am drawn to subjects that carry emotional weight without spectacle: mothers, sacred spaces, flowers, and fragments of architecture that speak to memory, continuity, and survival.
Watercolor allows me to work with vulnerability and control simultaneously. I embrace its fluidity while guiding it with intention, mirroring the themes I explore. My paintings invite viewers to slow down and witness—where grief and beauty, fragility and resilience, exist together without the need for explanation.
Blooming Under Siege | Exhibition at a la minute
Blooming Under Siege is a watercolor collection reflecting humanity, resilience, and quiet endurance amid displacement and loss. Rather than documenting events literally, the work focuses on emotional and symbolic landscapes—moments of prayer, motherhood, coexistence, and cultural continuity.
