Cindy Rinne is an interdisciplinary creative in poetry, performance, zines, fiber art, and collaborating with musicians. Rinne was awarded a writing residency at the Chateau d’Orquevaux in France. Cindy attended an art and writing residency at Desert Dairy Artist Residency, 29 Palms, CA. She presented an online lecture “Today in Three Caves” for the LABRC “The Art of Storytelling: Archetypes in Focus” conference, Oxford, England, 2025. Her artworks have been exhibited in “World of Threads Festival,” Ontario, Canada; “Beloved Planet, The Makery, LA, CA; “Reimagining Conservation,” National Museum of Wildlife Art, Jackson Hole, WY, and more. She has shown at The Artlands Gallery, Redlands, CA; The LMFLA Gallery, Sierra Madre, CA; Sturt Haaga Gallery, Descanso Gardens, La Canada Flintrige, CA; The Little Gallery, San Bernardino CA; Riverside Art Museum; Roswell Space, LA, CA; Studio C and Bunny Gunner Galleries, Claremont, CA and more. Cindy is the author of several books: Structures Break Down, (Cyberwit.net), Dancing Through the Fire Door (Nauset Press), Today on Two Planets (Written by Veterans), and more. Her poetry and visual poetry appeared in: The Closed Eye Open, Mythos Magazine, Unpsychology, and others.
