This November, Artlands is pleased to present the 2nd annual Altered Eyes 2.0, a multi-faceted group exhibition sure to captivate the mind’s eye. Altered Eyes refers to alternate ways of seeing the world through visuals that are ethereal, emotional, surreal, macabre, or even a little demented.
Taking place in Redlands, CA and curated by Zara Kand and Michael Goldbrandsen, this show will feature a fine roster of prominent and emerging artists from across the globe, including Mark Gleason, Guy Denning, Justyna Koziczak, Josh Porter, Wendy Lee Gadzuk, Legion, Leona Gamble, Ray Richardson, Ruben Aldenhoven, Fran Williams, Krzysztof Polaczenko, Donna Howson, Steven Latta, Christopher Choi, and Teeth.
The multidisciplinary works to be displayed are palpably as provocative as the show title suggests, prodding viewers into a visual journey at once amusing and introspective. Each artist will offer their own unique interpretation of the world around them, through a variety of aesthetic styles and cultural influences, yet rendered as a universal language.
The exhibition dates are from November 1 – November 29th, with an opening reception on Saturday, November 1st from 5-9pm. There will be an after party at The Vault (next door to the gallery) at 9pm and will feature live music by Hotel Mercy Band and others.
We hope you will join us for this grand event!
