Jina Imani is a cancer survivor and had to do a “big chop” due to the disease. Learning new natural ways to take care of her hair, she realized her hair is like a plant. She has a new found appreciation for hair and self care and hopes this book brings bodymind positivity to other little girls with curls. Jina is a photographer and author who uses her creativity to promote self acceptance and self actualization through deep introspection.
