"Planet Blood Head"- a world that is heavily influenced by 5 ancient gods called "Blood Heads" that occasionally peak their large faces out from the highly radioactive soil to send telepathic messages of wisdom to the inhabitants of the planet. These dwellers have evolved over many years (after coming to this planet some time ago) into beings that have 2 lives exhisting simultaneously in one body and reproduce independently. Luckily, for survival in this desolate and toxic environment, the creatures here take in carbon dioxide through their skin and absorb sunlight as food which is enhanced by the use of "sunscream".

Ten Yetman is a visual artist born in Winnipeg, Canada. After attending the Fine Arts Program at the University of Manitoba (2004-2009) she spent many years living in Mexico City and afterwards in Nagoya, Japan teaching art classes and exhibiting her work.

Heavily influenced by her experiences abroad, her work explores cultural and historical expressions of death and immortality. After moving back to Canada in 2013 she has been continuing to paint and exhibit work both in Canada and the United States.

Ten's work is a hyper-juxtaposition, constantly referencing both "comforting" bright colours and patterns, candies and sweets, parties and beach scenes, along with "uncomfortable" images of horror.
